I would like to know if the large aperture will be on the same plane as when fliped from the small aperture, without having to lower the front post to give same POI.

Thanks

on a serious note, are they just standard metal aparture sights inside the magpulized housing? in other words will, for example, trijicon tritium apatures fit the Mbus?

I believe the front is a standard FSP, but the rear is a custom polymer aperture.  There are pics in the "Magpul, I need MBUS" thread if you want to wade through it.
