I was installing the ASAP plate and when I put the buffer tube back on and was screwing it in it seems as though the tube is either barely touching/covering the buffer stop pin or with 1 more full rotation is dead nuts up against the pin.  Dumb ass me forgot to look before I unscrewed the tube to see what it was like from Noveske.  In the build it yourself section, it does not look as though the buffer tube is screwed in as far as the picture.  How far does it need to be in?  SHould I snug it up night as hell against the pin or just so it covers the shoulder?  Thanks

Snug it up. Same deal on the LMT lowers as well. The buffer retaining pin just needs to be able to move up or down, it doesn't need to be butter smooth. The notch on the buffer tube should come rest flush with the tip of the retaining pin if that makes sense.

The only reason for the pin to move is to take out the buffer and spring. Snug 'er up

Of course, I've had one too tight and sheared the pin off. That was after about 1k through the carbine (imagine the buffer & spring constanly up against the bcg). I had to file off a bit of the extension tube so that it only engaged the shoulder. YMMV & Good Luck!
