Because I didn't get a response last time, why not a forward ambi mount for your sling? It could have to mounting portions that attach to a railed forend. The center piece that the sling attaches two could be threaded onto both sides of the rail mounts. This way, you could twist it so that it tightens on the theads until they are the right size for whatever railed forend you are using.
Also, why not an ambi B.A.D.? It would go straight down, along the left side of the gun and then out to the left - but just enough to engage the device with the top of your finger. Woudn't want it too long to try and keep it from hanging up on stuff. Several manufactures make an extended bolt release, but no one makes what I'm describing. If you built it I'd buy it. Seriously, now get to work... |
| i wouldnt really see a reason for the front ambi mount. even when you transition over to your left shoulder the front sling attachment doesnt go 180 degrees under the gun like the rear sling mount needs to. this is asuming you use the 2-point sling looped over your right shoulder, and under your left arm. |
