Okay, I got some magpul ladder rails and snapped them on and cannot for the life of me remove them. Yes this is probably one of those questions that will brand me as an idiot, but help

Ok, I do not mean to be insulting, but that is about the hardest I have laughed all day.  Thanks.  Sorry I can not help out.

Seriously, you could not pry them off with a knife?  Slip a straightened paperclip under anywhere?

Steel knife, VERY tight tolerances + aluminum rail that cost $370. Not a good combo.

Okay, you fish?  Get a fish hook.  How bad can a little scratch be?

EDIT:  Okay, or try using toothpick so 'shimmy' under and pry off one side.  The wood will not mar your rail.

Good job.  Glad I could motivate you.  At least you know those ladders will not come off in the field, right?

If something hits me/my rifle hard enough to rip that ladder off I won't care anymore.

If you have a PMag handy use the dust cover clip to pry off the ladders.

I used a piece of string and tied it around the last rail of the ladder and then pulled.
I too couldn't get mine off without scratching the urx.
Ten months later I realized the err in my ways and if I had to do it again I would use anything.
Rails are realestate that will get scratched when used.  Fact o life.

Heat them up with a hair dryer and they come right off.
