Enhanced Pmag?  European Pmag?

Elastic, fits any round you want.

ETA: I'm gonna go with enhanced or European to fit FS2000s and 416s/MR556 type rifles.

So why even make Pmags if the Emag will fit everything?

The EMag will probably be more expensive, and not everyone is running a F2000 or 416...

I think the Emag is just a version of the PMag that will work in some guns that the PMag doesn't.

On another board it was claimed that the EMAG would replace the PMAG, and that PMAG production was ending.

The claim wasn't substantiated - so take it with a grain of salt I guess.

That makes the most sense. Why not have one mag that fit's everything?

Might explain the lack of PMags.

According to the 2009 Catalog that Magpul is giving out at Shot, the Emag is designed to work with the hk416, FN SCAR, Sa80, Tavor, and Beretta arx160...however it still works with the ar/m16 platform.

It would make business sense to produce only the EMag as opposed to producing both. My only question would be if the lack of the raised ridges of the EMag would compromise the rigidity of the magazine and if so I will continue to buy the PMags instead..
