I have been doing my own durability test on a 30 Round Pmag, First im no expert or anything like that , just a reg old country boy from Alabama. Im not much on typing, as you can see here in this post..

I have taken the Pmag and frozen the mag for over a week then i throw the mag out and test fired it . The mag worked fine no problems . Then i threw the mag over 30 times onto my gravel drive , then placed the mag in sand rub it in the sand , drove over it with my car a few times. Then i fired the mag 100 times without cleaning , the mag ran 100% not one problem out of it ...

Pmags are one of the best mags out there for the AR15.

Magpul got it right when they came up with the Pmag. Pmags are all im buying now, they will never replace my USGI Mags but when i buy more mags it will be Pmags .. I have 35 30 round pmags at this time , but would like to add a few more soon.

Here is a quote out of an email sent to me by deployed friend talking about PMAGs and convoy support.

Nobody here is all that impressed that you can run over these
with a Chevy pickup, considering we ran over one with an M915A3
(up-armored Freightliner 18-wheeler) with only cosmetic damage.

sphillips-  Sounds like you did the same sort of testing I did when I first got ahold of them.

I just had to see how they would hold up , i'm sold on Pmags.  I let my 2 yr old daughter play with it in the sand box today  . When she got done i test fired it again and it ran 100% .

I think they are the best mag made for the AR15 . I still like my USGI Mags and i will never replace them with Pmags, i have to many to replace. When the time comes for me to buy more new mags , i will only buy Pmags..

I need to get some more 20 Round Pmags, i gave what i had to my Nephew when he left out for Iraq.
