Is there a magpul pmag coupler?
If not do any other couplers work on pmags?

Just get yourself a Redimag by Blueforcegear.com and you'll be happy.

I'm not interested in the Redi-mag. I prefer the couplers and they cost a lot less.

So no mag couplers are compatible with pmags?

I've tried a few different ones, and the ones that secure the mags without slipping around, pinch the mags and prevent proper feeding.  There may be something else out there, but I haven't used it yet.

The mag cinch works well enough and I've had no issues with it yet.

mag-grip work very well.  Saw some at work at a recent three gun match.  They fit the pmag very well.

Who makes the mag-grip?
I can find them online, but cannot find who makes them.
Anyone have a pic with them on a pmag?

Popped right up on multiple websites the minute I Googled "mag-grip."

Not sure, but I think it's the only thing they make.  Not popular enough for website maybe.  Seems to be a quality product.  I think it's manufactured in US.  Looked to be of good quality.

I posted about the MagGrip with pictures in this thread.  It's been through two classes and six students without a problem.  Probably about 2400 rounds split between the two mags.  It would be nice if they made one that was actually milled correctly for the P-Mags.

Buellrider,
Thanks for the info.

According to Brownells the mfg is: "MERCOB SECURITY GUARD INFO".

BuellRider,

Your range near Carns Crossroads?

That's the one.

I also just set up a pair with the mag-cinch.  It seems pretty sturdy but time will tell if the nylon stretches and starts to loosen.

Well I purchased the Mag-Grip to do the modification. Both pieces are smooth inside (not threaded) so I assume a nut is missing. I checked my stock of nuts and they do not fit in the small hole in the mag-grip. I emailed Mag-grip (a.k.a. MERCOB SECURITY GUARD INFO) twice without a reply from them. F*ck them .

I'll have to find a nut that fits in there, or modify a nut to fit in there.

Here is what I received in the package:

If you can find a nut that is close in size you could run a drill bit in the countersink and open it up a bit. Too bad you have to go to all this trouble though.

Yeah its a bit of a pain in the ass. I contacted lapolicegear.com (online chat) where I bought it from. They requested that I send it back. I requested that they send me the missing part. They were unable to answer my question; is one clamp supposed to be threaded or is there a nut missing? The entire conversation took 40 minutes. They are going to have someone check on this and contact me within 24-hours. Hopefully they can just send me the missing part and I can avoid any additional hassle.

Opening up the hole is an option, but I would like to try and avoid that because it would be more cosmetically noticeable.

I don't have it here in front of me now, but I believe I can file/grind off the points of a nut and get it in there. Stopping it from spinning while tightening the bolt may be an issue. I need to look through my hardware again and maybe go down to ace hardware and see what I can make work.

I am not sure what those cost, but LApolice should just send you another one.

They are about $18 + shipping. They requested that I return the item, they would mark it as defective and send me a replacement. I told them that the item comes in a zip lock bag, just mail me the missing part, and mark that one as defective. We'll see what they come up with.

UPDATE:
After a few emails with LAPoliceGear.com they told me that it should be threaded. They wanted me to return mine for exchange. I asked if they would refund my return shipping, they replied that they are sending me a replacement. Hopefully I receive it soon.
