First off, I just want to say that I am very happy with my MIAD grips.

I have installed black MIAD grips on 2 different lowers, a RR and a BM.

On both grips, there seems to be an issue with the safety detent spring hole....it's too deep, thus the spring does not put enough force on the pin and the safety almost freely rotates.

Is this a known issue?  I read through the 4 pages and didn't see anything.

Thanks for the help.

I have seven MIADs and have noticed this as well. Mine won't quite move freely, but the selectors are considerably more loose than they were with A2 grips. I personally haven't had any issues when firing...

I have MIADs on both of my rifles and the only problem that i have found is on my last grip the large backstrap seemed to be warped. I got it on but it's noticeably skinnier at the attachment side....

You can always stick something in the hole to tighten it it up....

That's exactly what I did! LOL...

Just wanted to bring it to their attention since these grips have been out awhile and mine are brand new.

I had to put a short piece of allen wrench that i cut in the hole as well for a more positive feel to the safety.

I will have our QA guys look at it. Could be the pin in the mold that makes that hole might be off a little.
