Sorry for the hijack but I have a quick question. I am currently running an M93B with a sling loop on the receiver plate on my work rifle and a Daniel Defense sling loop on my other rifle. Will I be able to still use a sling loop with the UBR or am I going to have to switch to the QD swivels? Also what are the small changes between the pre-order stocks and factory stocks? | I went ahead and ordered my UBR direct from Magpul a little over a week ago. I checked on it again Wednesday. It looks like it will be near the end of March. I also ordered some of the PMAG Ranger plates too. Still no word of release on the horizon for the Magpul lower receiver. |

I am waiting on the UBR and have a question. I am going to put this on a new build and have a stripped lower. Do I need to order anything else to use the UBR? Or is everything I need included? I did get the CMMG Lower Parts Kit, so I have those pieces for the stock and buffer tube already. |
You need a carbine buffer and spring. |
Okay, bear with me. Is there a Mil-spec buffer and a commercial buffer or is that just the buffer tube? Thanks! |
The buffer tube comes with the UBR, and any carbine buffer will fit. Depending on what you are using it for, there are several different carbine buffer weights. In general, the "H" buffer is a solid buy. |

I'm honestly not sure. I'm a full time city cop, and I don't get deal with ordering or the warehouse all that much. I tend to goof off and take/post pictures when I'm not training or working the street.  Sorry for the lack of help on your question, but I'm honestly not sure when the UBRs are getting to us. |
I just called again today to check on my UBR order that was placed two months ago. They are now saying 2-3 more weeks. That seems to be in line with the April 30th timeline. This UBR is the only thing holding up a build I have been waiting to finish for over a month now. Since I really want the UBR, all I can do is wait. Maybe, for my patience, the guys at Magpul will through in some freebies.
