Is the CTR that much of an upgrade from a standard 6 position stock?? I would buy one without a dowbut if I were building one up but to buy one just as a replacement, im not sure if its worth the $$.

I love mine, especially with the additional pad, I dont think i could be content with just a regular carbine stock again, I'd put it on my issue weapon if it was allowed.

I have three. I've sent these to my son and his recon team in Iraq.

They lock up tight. None of that typical wiggle-woggle that you get with your typical AR collapsing stock. These are worth the money.

Its a very nice upgrade and i love mine, its more comfortable and doesnt move around on you, the upper is where accuracy is determined and i want my whole unit to be rock solid, which it is with the CTR.

I have one and will have at least one more soon. It really locks up great and is very comfortable. It feels confident and solid.

I am becoming a Magpul junkie.

The three old M4-style stocks I used to have on my rifles are still sitting in the corner of my garage where I tossed them a year ago. I run CTRs now exclusively. Okay, maybe not exclusively, I have a UBR. I bought a gob of the CTRs at gun shows last year for my son and his team in Iraq. These guys are Marine Recon. They loved the stocks.

I would not hesitate to purchase another should I need it.

Even my wife notices the difference and prefers the CTR.
