I brought one of my new mags to the range today. I have an A2 bushmaster. the p mag neglected to hold back the bolt on the last round fired. How Do i see if mine is gen 1? or help me fix this

Here is my bushmaster with the PMAG. notice it is not engaging the bolt catch at all:

Here is the same Bushmaster Lower with a standard GI mag obviously engaging

Here is the PMAG in my Stag and it is engaging the bolt stop


OK so what do i do now??? help me!

I have the same issue with one of my very old oly lowers, I fixed it by shaving off part of the rib on the right back of the right feed lip.   Front of the mag being where the the pointy part of the bullets are

email [email protected]. He is our tech guy. Something like this will require a whole bunch of questions or you can send your lower and mag into us and we will find and fix the issue here.
