The PMAG's that I've had the opportunity to play with are just totally awesome. I would love to buy a ton of them; unfortunately, I live in a ban state and can't have 30 round mags. I owned a number of 30 round mags before the ban, and so I can keep those and have taken worn mags and repaired them with PMAG kits. Well, I wanted some 10 round PMAG's too. So, with much help from ar15barrels, we got a PMAG 30 to a PMAG 10. Here are the results:     Please, Magpul, make a 10 round PMAG for those of us who live in ban states! I'll bet they'd be snatched up in a hurry.

Very, VERY cool. I made a 15-round AUG mag back in the 80s before the ban. Used the hack saw, file and sandpaper method. It worked out great. I liked having the shorter mag in the AUG. I traded the AUG for an ungodly amount of money plus an HBAR plus a Benelli Super 90. The deal was too good to pass up. I've seen the AUG, the 15-round mag and the custom case I built for it in the Turpin Gun Shop (RIP) and also at a couple gun shows since then. Your work has motivated me to attempt a 20-rounder just for kicks. I sent all of my Armalite 20s to Junior in Iraq (he likes them better for helicopter and vehicle ops -- less to snag on a steering wheel or other piece of gear). I'll need to try a couple before MagPul does a run of 20s. |
