1) what is the difference between a gen1 and a gen2 prs?
2) what are the chances of me being able to buy a rail cover and the adjustable check weld part in balck? i want to make mine more 2 tone w/ out painting

The rubber buttpad, and phosphate coated steel instead of the brighter SS adjustment shafts. The biggest visual and functional change to me is the rubber pad.

yeah but i got a gen 1, so no rubber butt pad, unuless i can do some sweet talking to magpul, which i was hoping they would chime in here . . . . .

I heard they were going to make a kit to turn a Gen1 PRS into a Gen2. I guess thats a butt pad and whatever else goes with.
Any word on that kit?
