I'm going to remove the SS 16" barrel from my upper and replace it with a DTI barrel. I know the debate of CL vs. just cm barrels. But has anyone had any issues with DTI barrels after much rounds being put through the barrels such as chrome peeling or flaking?

I havn't had any issues with mine, but I don't have a very high round count through it. DTI's barrels are made by Wilson Arms, which also makes barrels for Rock River and several others. They seem to have a very good reputation.

I have about 2500ish rounds through mine and it looks and functions flawlessly. Shoots real low with a Ciener kit, but that's not the barrel's fault.
