Purchased my DelTon Middy Kit about a month ago in South GA and finally got a chance to shoot this weekend. First off, it was a great gun with close groupings!

The problem was after 30-35 rounds, I had a FTE and found the cap and spring to the forward assist laying next to me. I KNOW the cap isn't supposed to come off. Has anyone else had this issue? Is this something I should talk to DelTon about, being a purchase from a dealer?

Sounds like the Forward Assist roll pin worked loose or wasn't there?

Call Del-Ton, they'll make it right.

I will be calling a little later... I guess i should have took a picture... the roll pin is still there, the "button" you press to engage the FA popped off

I did notice the Bravo Comp. FA has a roll pin in the button, but everything I've seen about the standard "Mil-Spec" FA show the "button" and plunger as one piece...

Just talked to Del-Ton... they seem pretty interested in this issue. I'll snap a picture when I get it removed for return so everyone can see what I'm talking about.
