I grabbed a bunch of old BDU uniforms some dude was about to throw out. They are in good condition but hard as a rock from the starch. Ive washed them a bunch but they are still pretty stiff. Any ideas on how to get the starch out?

Keep washing them.  It will take a few washings to get them out.  I quit using starch back in 2004 because I wa sick of replacing faded uniforms every year.  Some of my field uniforms still feel a bit stiff even now.

Jarhead?  If so; in Okinawa, when I was there, most of the Mama-sans used glue with/in-place-of starches.  The damn things could just about stand in formation in your place.

Most of those held their creases and general shape through many washes.  They sucked in the summers though because they didn't breath.

The glue/starch sure did look pretty though...
