Ok, I will give it a shot.... Google is your friend1. OCS is less then 40 years old... 2. You would have to probably attend WTC (Warrior Transition Course) 4 weeks, depends on how long you were out, which I don't know what the time limits are 3. Loan Repayment?? Don't know...bonus eligible yes... 4. Won't hurt you, some MOS have better bonus.., I would go 11B and do Army the right way this time  There are many recruiters on here, maybe they will chime in, I answer based on my prior service experience.. |

OCS cut off is now age 42. No basic training, maybe an AIT if you switch MOS. I was 11B discharged in 92, reenlisted in Fall 05. No basic no transition course. Just reclass 97B mos school. GI BIll? Good question. Bonus yes. Reclassing does not hurt. Did you like your old job? Aren't Riggers slow to promote? Not to many ABN units in Guard asides from Psyops, CA, or SF. |
