I've got a friend looking to send some letters to service members overseas. Can anyone help with an address or something? --> Original message below Sir: I, along with some friends, have written some letters to "any serviceman" and want to send them to servicemembers deployed overseas. I remember receiving them during the Gulf War, and appreciated them, but I don't seem to remember how to address them. I have also seen some articles, old ones, that say that due to the anthrax scares, the DoD had stopped the program. Do you, or anyone out there have any idea how I could get about 50 letters to some of those guys? Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Richard |

For troops on land, send to: (person's name), Operation Joint Guard, APO AE 09397. For troops at sea, send to: (person's name), Operation Joint Guard, FPO AE 09398. After all the letters are placed in the envelope/box, please note on the outside of the package, "O.K. to open for inspection." [red]It is important that each box/envelope is addressed to a specific service member.[/red] |
