Possible. It depends on what he says:

The Viet Nam war ended in 1975....Your poser wasn't born until 1977, so I am guessing the math ain't working in his favor on this one.... I realize this. What I meant to ask, Could he had been there say around 99 or 2000? Been there in what capacity? He could have been a Marine Security Guard at the embassy in Hanoi around that time frame. He could not have been there as a combatant of any type. |

Find out what he means by "served". I flew into Vietnam several times up until 1992, but by no means served in Vietnam. That's my thought as well, regardless of whether or not this guy is a Marine. Was this guy saying it in such a way as to insinuate pulling embassy duty (or whatever) puts him in the same category as a Vietnam veteran? I believe saying he was "stationed" in Vietnam would be a little more appropriate. (assuming his story is even true) |

She said he served in NAM and Guam I believe, but it was before they hooked up. She also said he saw combat in one of the sandboxes. The dates just don't add up. I guess this is probably a waste of time, but thanks for ur replies. |
