After thirteen years with my Department I finally made Captain. I'm an AEF (Advanced Exterior Fire fighter) in the Petro-Chemical Industry working for BP North American at the Texas City Refinery. Being a small Department, made up of roughly 100 Fire Fighters, chances for advancement are few and far between.

Thanks Bro!, but NFPA standard said my gear was to old...just when the old stuff was feeling good! My old gear had a lot of memories in it, some good, some really bad!
