I have my final patrol selection interview today for my PD, which I am currently a dispatcher for.
I will be interviewing with officers I work with on a daily basis. Wish me luck, I will let you guys know how it goes! EDIT: See the update below. |

Well, I had the interview.
Very weird. Talk about pressure. I have worked with all 5 of the officers on the board for the past 2.5 years. I felt like the standard was really high and didn't feel awesome about the interview just meh. One of the Sgts not associated with the interviews said he heard I did great. So that is encouraging. So now it goes to the Chief and he makes the selection. I should know something early this week.

So I figured about the decision, but it is still nerve raking. Now for the PT test, that should be interesting.
Dispatch hasn't been good to me, making the last 4 weeks not so much fun. I didn't know I had separate muscles in some places, just though it was bigger ones. I should have payed attention in high school. |
