Do any of your agencies authorize or mandate the Trijicon Reflex for your patrol rifles.
We (a very large Florida SO) had only authorized Eotech and Aimpoint. Somebody decided to acquire the reflex sights on their own. Mucho discussion going on. Thanks for your input. I should add that we require qualification with the optic and BUIS. Considering that the reflex doesn't turn off, what are your qualification considerations? |
| I worked at an agency that installed them on the issued patrol rifles. They were prefered over others because there were no batteries to worry about. I never had any issues with them other than the before mentioned washout. I worked nights so it was not that big an issue. We had the triangle in ours. |
