Gents,
Need some help here on behalf of a friend and fellow LEO. I'm looking for Monadnock auto-lock baton with the early style end cap. By early I' referring to the ones with the silver/chrome button end cap vice the newer version end cap with the flat, wide, black button.... If you have one I would be willing to exchange it for a new one (your choice of size)... Or, even better, if anybody can direct me to where to get just the end cap I would be much appreciative..... Reason is his baton is in need of replacement, but needs the old style end cap (which is currently unavailable). It has to do with his obsessive/compulsive personality and a mount he fashioned for his vehicles to hold his baton (the mount won't work with the newer style end cap)....... Has he tried to contact Monadnock? They replaced my whole baton due to it not locking and I'm sure they'd send him a new cap for free. He did and they replaced it, but they did so with the new style end cap... Now he's in search of the old style cap as the new one won't work with his fabricated mount... Personally, I don't see the issue but he's some form of perfectionist..... |
