I HATE MY GLOCK!!!
Our department mandates the NY1 trigger. 8 lb trigger pull??? GOOD LORD! Now if i could install a TI firing pin, guide rod & the 3 lb disconnector (heck I'd settle for the 5 lb stock disconnector) I'd probably LOVE the pistol! Can I qualify with it?? YES!! But that's not the point!! Apparently LEO's can't be trusted with STANDARD WEAPONS!!! WTF... it's even called "New York" 1.... no offense to the NY guys... but you have RETARDED GUN LAWS! GOD have mercy on anyone who has to deal with an NY2... 12 lbs?????
Guess they want to give the BAD GUYS a "sporting" chance!!! Don't flame me TOO bad. I LIKE to SHOOT... & THIS THING SUCKS!!! |

OP, how long have you been a cop?
As a rookie who thought he knew everything, I hated the NY1 as well. Now, after carrying it on the street for a dozen years, and firing it on the street a time or two, I realize that the NY1 trigger is not the flying-monkeys-swooping-out-of-the-sky-and-eating-kittens ballistic boogeyman that some make it into. It's steady, consistent, and a damn bit less mushy than the standard trigger. Lose the aftermarket gadgets too, don't mess with a perfectly functional combat pistol. |

dthe p2000 is not that bad. if ur border patrol u have the same weapon as i do and its easy as hell to shoot. Yea I'm BP, but I hate how you have to pull the trigger, hit a wall then pull somemore. I just used to glocks. I shoot good with it, normally qual with 345 out of 360, but with a glock and easy 350+ |
