You will like the X-26, it is one nice tool to have. I have one taser hit thus far, it prevented me from killing a young guy recently as he had just sliced up his dad with a knife and would not heed my commands to disarm himself. Many details to the story... but the bottom line was a taser shot was a better chioce -vs- killing him. Having the taser allowed me to do my job without taking a life, even though it would have clearly been a clean shoot. Just don't come to rely too much on the taser, it is just another tool with limits. |
