As for now the pd restricts the caliber to be no lower than 380. The head instructor has asked me to get some information together comparing the 32 to the 380 in an attempt to possibly change SOP in that the guys can carry a 32 caliber weapon. I have pulled up Federals information on the two calibers here: http://www.federalcartridge.com/ballistics/Ammo_Search.aspx?act=choose&firearm=2&s1=1 Has anyone done this before, that would be willing to share their results on whether or not allow officers to carry a lesser caliber than 380? I sure wish customs would allow the importation of the Glock 380! |
