Anybody done any work with these folks? I am seriously thinking of a stint with dynacorp due to some flak going on at work. I think its time for a change of pace. Any tips? I have experience training in Firearms, weaponless defense (hand to hand), crime scene investigation and some FTO time. Thanks in advance Mike |
| Dynacorp was a real squared away bunch I thought. However, BEWARE of the psych part. There is no rhyme or reason to it. The other stuff like fitness test, manual transmission test, oral interview, that isnt bad at all. You might want to look at Civilian Police International. I've never dealt with them, but have heard great reports from people who are working with them in Kosovo. |

I think that Dyncorp was a much better option in the Mid 90's with the Kosovo and Bosnia missions. I am not too excited about their current assignments. I think they are too high risk, given the pay and you are under gunned. I know Blackwater is having some issues and perhaps suffering from such rapid growing pains but they are not the only game on the block. One of our snipers, separated from our department about 4 months ago and took a job with Triple Canopy. He has spent a lot of time in the desert from the first Gulf War and 3 trips this time around. He is still a reserve Marine and had contemplated a try out offer with the fellas over at Bragg. But I guess he figured if he was going back to the sand box, he might as well get paid well to do it. |
