In the last two weeks I've taken two very strenuous PAT tests (Orlando Fire and Clermont Fire) and both required at least part of the course to be on SCBA. Both times I finished with the most excruciating head ache I've ever had and am not doing as well as I would have thought. Now I can't believe I'm that outa shape, I'm in the gym regularly and I could go out and run a good 5 miles right now and barely break a sweat. And I can't ever remember having this problem through Standards as much of an ass kickin we got. Maybe my body is just not acclimated to that much physical stress bunked out?
Does it having something to do with the dry air from the bottle, what gives?

My guess is that it is dehydration,  This same thing happened to me once during a really hard PAT.  Once I got some more fluids in me I was fine.  Next time maybe drink plenty of water before the test and no matter what you do warm up before the test.  Good luck.

The dry air can suck the moisture out of you. Drink a bunch of H2O/powerade.
