Well, the G21 went FEDEX to AZ Response Systems, today. I've had a 1911 done by ROBAR and it is absolutely the best work I've ever seen, but I couldn't wait another 4 months for my Glock just to get a grip stipple/reduction. Anyone have experience with ARS? The work appears to be very good, but I have never actually handled/fired a finished gun from them. |
| I have two FALs built by Mark and his guys and the work is flawless. They are both extremely reliable and I am very happy with them. OTOH, Mark is not the world's greatest communicator, so don't expect frequent verbose email updates. He is a gunsmith, not a secretary. I think you will be pleased. |

Thanks, guys. I was willing to take a chance this time around. It was a choice between ARS, Bowie Tac. Concepts in Ohio, Cylinder and Slide, or ROBAR, again. ARS got my business simply because I really liked the aggressive stipple pattern on their Glocks, and the fact that they were doing a run of Glocks on 1 December with a 30 day turn around. |
