Also....try to keep your mouth shut and your eyes and ears open. Don't try to be funny or clever and if you must....keep your questions and comments brief and to the point. Keep in mind that if you screw up and don't make it through the academy you will be VERY hard pressed to find another department that will give you another chance.

+1... save ALL partying for your graduation. Pay attention and spend all your off time studying, eating and resting. Dedicate the couple months you're in the academy to doing nothing else but academy work. It will be the first best investment you can make in your career. Good luck. |

TIPS: Always be friendly to everyone around you. Don't have sex with anyone in the academy. Remain professional at all times. Do as you are told and don't argue with instructors or counselors. Don't whine! Don't drink and drive. Be punctual. Don't kiss A$$. Don't brown nose! Focus! Be aggresive, yet smart and lead others by example. Exercise. Take charge where others cannot.
If you do all these things, you will be at the top of your class and successful throughout your career! |
