I have been made a conditional job offer with LAPD. All I have left is the medical and psych exams. What can I expect on them?

Dont know about in CA, but ours was nothing major. You shouldnt have anything to worry about. As long as you dont feel like killing ppl you should pass the psych

MY medical consisted of a Color blind test and eye test, peripheral vision test, height, weight, hearing, urine proteins, hernia check, vital signs, and a standard physical exam. The Psych was in two parts: the MMPI written test and an interview with a psychologist who asked very dumb unrelated questions.

Im in Fl, we were given a physical and a psych. test involving a long written test and an interview. It was painless. Good luck, sounds like you'll be on pretty soon.

Congrats. Most don't make it that far.

Just stay calm, answer truthfully and understand it is supposed to be stressful.
