How about a back-up light such as a Surefire or other such brand. They are useful and some can be had in the $50.00 range. Go to www.candlepowerforum.com

Hmmmm, Traffic Supervisor . . .
Warm, waterproof gloves/socks waterproof clipboard for forms good light (as mentioned above) car organizer just some ideas try to get him something that he will use and appreciate, but not neccesarily something he would buy for himself. |

I like the flashlight idea, a nice Gerber or Leatherman multitool is always handy also.

flashlight is a good idea. Under armor is always good for cold or hot if you buy the different brands. Car organizer is another great idea, b/c it can get pretty cluttered in their towards the end of a shift.

If he has a portable DVD player buy him some DVD's to watch at work......
 Don't pretend it doesn't happen.
