Oh, sorry, I was not paying attention

Im thing just a tacked thread.  Ify your PD is hiring, post in it.  Mine always is, Im sure wave could post a link to his PD hiring page (you know, that little PD he works for).  Smething like that.  If your dept stops its process, that you could edit that or ask one of us to deleate it.  Of corse, Im just on cup of coffee #1, so ignore me.

I usually refer people to the cop jobseek websites (the ones at the end of the tacked thread) which are updated regularly and pretty comprehensive...but I see what you are aiming for.

N.Y.P.D. is always hiring. They haven't been able to fill academy classes for a while now....

I'm curious as to why.  I worked for about 6 years in our recruiting section and our biggest obstacle was the low pay for the size of our department.  Just wondering...

This is / was intended as a resource for our members. I should have stated as well, it won't be limited to LEO's. If any of our smoke eaters and ParaMedics know of any depts hiring, let us know.

well in adjoining counties (Nassau and Suffolk), Cops are making twice as much.  We are still without a contract (3 years now).  The list goes on, but [gump]that's all I'll say about that[/gump]

Hehe--my department's always hiring, but given the thread I recently started in here, I don't know as I can suggest actually applying.........................

And no ideas Striker, as to the original question posed by this thread.
