I'm thinking about purchasing a pair of Warrington Pro 5000's  but nobody around here stocks them so it's going to be an internet purchase.

Question is how does the sizing on these boots run???

My rubber shoe fit boots are 12E & they fit tight.

However, in leather boots I normally wear 12.5 EE.

Any idea if they run large, small or true to shoe size?

Any recommended place to purchase them from?

Welllllllllllllllllllll............ I bought a pair of Black Diamond leather slip on's from the Fire East expo. And had the privilage of trying them on there. I normally wear slip on boots (Justins, Wolverens, ets). I wear a 9 1/2... But all my slip on's, including my leather bunker boots are 9's.....

I would say, try a pair on or that of another brand if the style you want is not available just to get a good idea on how they'll fit, and then order off the net. You wanna make sure they fit well and are comfortable, as you know as well as I do........ Going interior with something on you thats uncomfortable ain't fun!

edarley or firestore.com or chief supply would be good places to order from.

Good luck, and once you wear a pair of leathers on a call, you'll never want the rubber boots on your dogs again.

We are issued leather Black Diamond wildland boots & the sales guy said to go 1/2 size smaller cuz they run large & yeppers Black Diamond wildland boots do run large. He has some good prices for Black Diamond leather structure boots but I like what I've read about the Warrington Pro 5000's and figgure to give them a shot.

We had a moble home fire yesterday & by the time I got home (volly) my feet, knees & legs were killing me.

It's time to get leather for my stinky feet

My Pro's run a little big, but I like em like that.  Its gives me a little extra room to move my foot around in.  I will never buy another pair of rubber boots, once your Pro's are worn in (it wont take long) it will be like wearing tennis shoes.   I got mine from the firestore, call em up I had the same problem and they helped me out.

I got the BD at a good price, as they did'nt want to haul all of these boots back with them........... My Capt. bought a pair of Thorogoods........ I actually wanted those but the wifey said 'No!.......... you just spent close to $1000 on another AR!' One of the paid guys has the same BD I have and had them for years and loves 'em!

I've only worn them twice on calls, as I haven't made any good ones in awhile....... Been sick with the flu or not available. But the two calls I did wear them on, it made a world of difference! I was actually walking funny as the boot are very lite weight!

The Thorogoods my Capt bought:
