Did my first interview for the city PD as a Reserve. Not too bad of a grilling. I'll know in a week if Im accepted into the program or not. Wish me luck.

good luck just finished all my testing and going thru the background check now.

waiting on the date for the next class.

Good luck.
I didn't think the Reserve interview was too bad either.
I'm in training right now, accepted and just waiting to finish that and have the complete background check cleared.

Sworn at the end of June if all goes well (and it should). Seems like forever but I'm already 2 months in and it seems like I just started.

Well, I passed the interview process. Now for the physical and psych test. What do they ask you or is it a written test?

Psych is written and then an interview with a psychologist... good luck!

Thanx guys. I went on my first ride-a-long this past weekend. Mostly small traffic stops, drunk in the middle of the road, and a bust of a couple of kids with marajuana. I think I'm going to like this job. Now if they would only hurry up and give me the last two tests so I can start classes. It always hurry up and wait around here.

Yeah lots of hurry up and wait. Once classes start it starts going by pretty fast.

Keep going on ride alongs if you can. Street experience will help make more sense of your classes.

I hope you get to experience the MMPI. This is a pysh test. You will love it I am sure. Just had to take one this past week. Good luck. I learned a ton from the reserve program I was involved in.
