Im reading and reading, and I Want to knw of any books or videos that I can learn from. Basics to whatever. I have a hard time understanding some of the terminology people are using on this site. There are lots of books out there. But the best thing you can do is sign up for a weekend course, or three day course if your schedule allows. Training, actual hands on, rounds down range is where you'll learn the most. Just make sure it's a reputable training firm.

Wellcome to our corner of the site ScoJones.
Feel free to ask any questions you want here. We have quite a few firearms instructors here, myself included. Between all of us we should have you running and gunning in no time!

You will definatly learn alot here.  Also If you can find abunch of guys to hang out with and shoot with in the state forums, you may learn alot by going to the range with them. Books and videos are probably great aswell!

Man, if you are seeking out LEO books, vids and source materials...you have your work cut out for you cuz there are a gazillion books on every conceivable topic.  I would recommend classes/seminars on safety and tactics to start.

oh yea

Books are nice but nothing is a good as getting out to the range.  Attned a Basic Operatior (Patrol Rifle) course.  National Tactical Officers Assoc and NRA have some grand courses.

hmmm....I remember now .........5 days and 800 rounds of pure pleasure.
