Geez only 23 or so people showed up for the civil service test. That really suprised me considering the good pay this department has and that it's a lateral transfer academy so only a month and a half or so of their academy. Out of the 23 people only ten showed passed the civil service test. Then it was on to the nelson deny test which we all passed. I made a 84 on the civil service test and someone said that the highest grade was 84 so if that's true I'm at least tied for the highest score on that test. Next week it's physical agility testing. I gotta go run and do hard work on my B-Day for crying out loud. I hope I'm right and the grass is greener on the other side and this works out better than my current department. |

Hey brother I'm going through the same thing right now except that I resigned from my dep't back in January!! So far with one agency I have passed the written, interview, polygraph, and psych. From what I understand all we are waiting on now is approval from the county commission approving how many officers the dep't can hire.  I have tested with two other agencies also. Took and passed the written and physical agility test for one and was only required to take a written test for the other which I passed with a 94%!! I hope to be back to work here in 2 weeks or so!!
