I have a few questions for guys who work for police departments that utilize tactical medics. The EMS service which I work for is planning on setting up a tactical medic program to assist our local P.D. SOT and S.O. STOP. This is a completely new program for us and any advice would be a great help. How are your medics utilized? Entry teams, out-side stand by? How many medics do you utilize when you are deployed? We are thinking 2 What type of equipment do your medics carry and how do they carry it? type of bags and such Are your medics CLEET certified reserve officers and if so what type of firearm do they carry? Any recomendations on companys that offer tactical training... Sorry for all the questions guys... I'm tryin to get a good bit of info to assist with setting this up. Thanks a ton guys! |
