I was just the recipient of a Shield 616 vest/kit tonight. Just wondering if this is becoming a widespread organization in all areas or what, if any, experience you all have with it. I first heard of it 6 or so months ago, since then the local group has armored up 50 or so area officers (out of maybe 90 or so)
Shield616 The kit appears well made, haven't had a chance to see who makes it, but it is supposedly made in USA. Include helmet, pouches, med kit, and plates. Had a date with the wife after the presentation, so I haven't had a chance to fit it and try it out too much. It seems like a decent organization, a little churchie for me, but excellent support for the community. Thoughts? |
