Finally gave in and gave up my leather duty gear.
My old cuff case has 24 years of wear.... Most of the black is worn off... Lol. My org has decided that we all will carry OC, Cuffs, cuff key at all times on duty. With the new issue comes newfangled belts/carriers. They've also mandated we all maintain personal "notebooks" like the police do.... Few of us see the need, but... It's a done deal. |

Honor Guard shoe die.
Urad wax made of carnuba wax and lanoline. Neutral in color it goes over the die and the lanoline will refurbish the natural oils. I've put it on saddle and got on 5 minutes later with light blue jeans with no discoloring of the jeans. If it has lost too much body there is some stuff from Tandy that is pretty much clear polymer IIRC it was called Saddle Sheen. Don't use to much Urad on holster. Use it only if holster is too dry and stiff. Well cared for leather has so much more character though in high heat humidity a cotton web cartridge belt like Teddy Roosevelt used to wear is much more comfortable than leather |
