Basically from what I have found talking to LEO's about the interveiw process is that it doesnt so much matter if you are nervious or have a few negative things in your past ie smoked pot a few times in high school. What does matter is if they feel you are lying to them. They expect you to be nervious. They mainly want to know if you are trust worthy. Of course if you were a drug dealer or had some other significant negative events in your past that might affect things. But the most important thing is to not lie. |
| I mean I've never done anything other than a couple tickets from 2 years ago. Smoke has never touched my lungs and I don't drink. I think I'm just nervous as to starting a new chapter in my life, and not so much as to what they'll ask. I'm not worried about the academy at all, I know once I get there I'll be fine. I'm just trying to get there. |
