Just saw some serious awesome. Must have been about the most gratifying traffic stop a LEO could ask for.
Waiting to make a left turn and notice a SUV pulled over in the right lane of street I am about to turn onto, about 300 yards down from the intersection. As I make the turn into the left lane I see the officer take back his pen and turn to head back to his squad. As soon as the officer's back is turned a hand comes out of the driver's window with the raised middle finger. The driver of the SUV, smug looking little snot, pulls up right alongside of me a good five count later, still flipping the bird to the world behind him. Stays alongside of me for another block, never retracting the bird, and then makes a right turn onto a side street. Of course with one hand out the window and the other turning the steering wheel there was no hand left to hit the turn signal. I hear a WOOP WOOP and have to slow down and rubberneck long enough to see him get pulled over again, presumably for failing to signal his turn. Couldn't help myself. I never get to do anything about it when people are nasty to me so I think I enjoyed this a little bit more than I should have. |
