I have this going in General under The Serena Complex Revisited but as I tripped over something of my intelligence background, it occurred to me that I might want to be asking the same thing here.
I'm taking an acting class that can pull a lot on popular culture; catch is, I've never been much of the popular culture type. Celebrities, gossip, recognized faces mean little to me. So how might one brush up on that? Relevance? Undercover, such as direct (playing a hooker) or indirect (watcher or decoy); how would someone take someone who doesn't know what everyone else knows and bring them up to speed? __________________________________________________ ("Oh, this is the guy on Dallas, the greedy heavy!"––guest "I don't know!" and later, "I never watch the show!"––Tony Randall, (w,stte), "The $10,000 Pyramid") |

Get up on pop culture? MTV & TMZ, maybe some HLN to mix in a bit of reality. Well, to tell you the truth, it was Head Line News that convinced me to watch Levantate each morning. Though, it looks like I ought to be watching that, TODAY, GMA, for the next week, at least...............god help me. ___________________________________ ("And I thought I was done with homework!"––new recruit, (w,stte), MI-5 "Syria") |
