| he didn't remove it though...........reminds me of a deputy here that owns a gun shop. Right after he opened it I checked it out. There was a female in the store looking for a pistol to carry when she got off work and was walking to her car at night. Kind of thought she might have been a dancer from how she looked and acted but not sure. Anyway she was just looking for an inexpensive pistol to carry with her. The owner of the shop (deputy) told her that she really needed a glock and to add the light to it because she could use it as a flashlight as she walked to her car and check the parking lot with it....he proceeded to attach the light to the gun and demonstrate to her how to use it as a light and told her that with that she could shoot anything or anyone that she lit up if she needed......I just walked out....I really wanted to wait and say something to her away from the store owner but just left instead....... |

Keep in mind, some holsters that accommodate weapon lights, won't holster the gun without it attached. It would be dangerous to have your firearm "laying" in your holster for someone to snatch from you. If it came down to that, I would be holding mine too....
I'm not saying that's what happened or that its right or wrong, just another point of view I guess....I didn't see the show, just going off of what was said here. |
| The episode where the female officer had her Tazer taken was just painful to watch. Once she was disarmed she had nothing, no hand to hand, no defensive tactics. She was lost. Reminded me of a boxing cartoon where she would just kind of run around and wait for help. Her partner showed up, tried his Tazer and it didn't work so the BG got taken to the ground. The female did at least pile on after the take down. Her commentary was priceless. She will be the Chief's driver and chicky snack by next week. |

I'm diggin Ft Smith PD, though. Seems like at aminimum, their bosses give them the optionof a uniform w/ all cloth stuff on it, and no metal.
Cinci is clown shoes. Stupid hats, white shirts w/ ties in the winter......ghey and archaic. Perfect example of how NOT to uniform your dept. ever since Chattanooga PD has been on, they have kicked it up a notch. Chatt is in the shit. Great city w/ some reall hardcore shitty areas. |
