Does anybody have any recommendations on a judgmental shooting simulator?

My chief asked me to find a system that can run individual and team scenarios for up to 4 officers and is portable.  I would like to include shootback cannons and recoil operated weapons but it is not a 'must have'.

We had a portable prisim system in the past but we lost it during Katrina.  Are current operating budget allows for no more than 30K for the system, weapons, etc.

Thx.

My agency uses the Firearms Training Simulator (F.A.T.S.)

It is pretty good but I have no idea how much it costs.

Our agency has a Milo system, and it is a really great system IMHO.  It actually allows you to video your own scenarios and make place them into the system.  We have used this to do active shooter and hostage situations in our court facilities and schools.  It is nice for the scenarios to be played out in locations that are specific to the area the agency serves.

We have this also.

The new one we got can have scenarios altered by the instructor depending on how the student (shooter) is handling the situation. The new system also has a Glock that recoils when fired.

We rent FATS on limited basis, but own PRISM. PRISM is much better, no gas recoil, but no hose hanging out of the bottom of the gun either. Also PRISM shoots back and you can move around a lot better with it. I think the only reason we still use FATs is because they have it at the range where we do our low light training.

See if you can buy my department's FATS system. I haven't seen it used in well over ten years.

I have used FATS and more recently a couple of sessions with MILO.

I have no idea about PRISM.

MILO is technology that's 20 years newer than FATS.

MILO allows Taser, OC, and firearm use. Last time I used it, they had standard looking guns that recoiled when fired.

We have/use this. Thousands of scenarios, all live fire.  You use your duty weapon, or whatever weapon you chose.  It shows sequence of the rounds you fired, reaction time, etc.  Snipers also use the system for their training. You wear a headset, which doubles as hearing protection, but plays all the noises from the scenario.
