What's your training programme through the year?

We used to do ten days a year, ie a day every 5 or so weeks, mostly shooting classifications. We are changing to 2x four day blocks, one in September and one in February. I thought the old one ws bad enough, as in not enough, but this new scheme is a joke.Thinking of packing it in...............

We train 2 days a month luckily its every month.  Used to be once every blue moon.  I do most of my training on my own.  Luckily I have a reclaimed strip mine not to far away and do everything there.  If u don't mind the locals eyeballing you in your gear.  I see it as bettering myself.

im just getting into a roll (certification class in june) but i shoot alot on my own, mainly because there are only TWO ranges in the whole middle of the state...and ones the military range
personally have a family members property where i go and shoot....its not all about shooting though

id say a 1/3rd of the time i work on spotting with a friend from work, observation, and evasion...along with body mechanics and equipment training...

We have two 8-hour training days a month.  We shoot at just about all training meetings (can't really remember not shooting).  I'm one of the luckey ones as my agency spends $$ to make sure we have what we need.  In addition, I have total access to our facility and ammo and shoot quite a bit on the side.

ETA:  We do other tasks as well not just all shooting... just thought I would toss that in there before the storm.

I'd be happy to train the shooting on my own but that's a non-starter in this country............

edit...ah, you meant just the snipers..

Yes, they as a sniper team do their own training sessions.

We don't work for free either
