I mentioned a few months back about my first cousin possibly having breast cancer at age 32. Tests came back and it was not cancer. My mother, aunt, and grandmother also have died from breast cancer between 40-60 years old. Anyway my cousin got the genetic testing and it came back positive. They also found another lump and she had a biopsy today. Even if she does not have cancer she will be undergoing a total hysterectomy and a double mastectomy with reconstruction. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks!

Both of my Aunts had cancer. One had breast cancer, the other, Sarcoma. I hope everything gets worked out and it goes into remission.

My sister is a breast cancer survivor and I had thyroid cancer. I will pray for your cousin.

I hope that all works out for you all. I also hope that you get the test to see if you have the gene the sooner you get tested the better.

Unfortunately I have no insurance, so that won't be possible for a while! I would almost be sure it would be positive though with my mom, grandmother, aunt, and cousin (maybe) having it.

Prayers inbound! Hope everything turns out ok, and by some chance, you can get tested, too.

I sometimes wonder if I should have the same testing, since I don't know my family history (adopted).
