Well my step-son moved out earlier in the week and it appears the little bundle of joy swiped the Barbasol.  I am getting cleaned up with my weekly shave and se that there is no shaving creme.  I spy a slender can with a shaving creme type dispenser and read Silky Smoothe Gel or words to that effect.  I read the label to make sure it isn't going to blind me if I slop it in my eye and decide to give it a try.  I am concerned because if my wife every uses my razor to shave her legs it feels like she scaled fish with it or something; it is like trying to shave with a rusty pocket knife.  Well anyway I follow the directions and squirt it in my hands and lather it up and commence to shaving.  Surprise, surprise, best shave, smoothest shave I have ever had.  And this was with a razor that I had been using previously.  I am thinking of using the Silky Smoothe Gel exclusively.  I can almost get used to the girly smell but am concerned about potential side effects from long term use.  I wouldn't what to grow boobs or start having periods you know.

Nah, you're good. GC has been using smooth gel for about 7 years now. He used to have problems with razor burn and by 5 o'clock every day he looked like he had 2 days growth, but not any more.

You can find the unscented kind every once in a while, but unless you slather it all over yourself (and I don't want to know if you do ) your aftershave will cover the delicate floral scent.

Aftershave???  What is that?  I shave once a week up here in the hills.  Deoderant is as prissy as we get around here!
