Hi Ladies ![]() Some of you may remember this thread from March. It was booted to the archives. Here is some new pictures. I hope you find them as cool as I do. Profile view at 25 weeks Say hi to the camera Two tiny feet Still on track for early October, everything looks good And no, we haven't found out what it is yet, although we are comfortable that it will be either a boy or a girl. My track record is 100% boys. |
Holy Moly. 11 kids. I can't even imagine what the grocery bill must be like. Loonybin.... congrats on the newest. You are right about the research. Also, there is a very small (tiny) percentage of men who produce only male sperm.
This is so great. Did you not realize this was the women shooters forum?? My wife has another sono scheduled today, I should hopefully have some new pics tonight when I get home. fish |

Fish you obviously are not concerned about multitude of sonos on the baby [I was always paranoid] but why all of them in the first place? just because you can? *ETA* Awh yes this family is huge. They're not big people thankfully [the tallest kid is probably 5'8"] Dad is a loser [paper route] Mother is awesome [works for the school]. |
Hi Patty ![]() No worries with the sonos. No radiation, non-invasive. Basically a benign test. As to the why, well, in 2002 we lost a baby (boy named Ari) in the third trimester. A bizzare stricture developed in the umbilical cord, and the blood flow was cut down significantly, and the babys growth could no longer be supported by the available blood flow. Granted, it was a freak event, and the chances of it happening again are essentially zero, but with our next son, and this current baby, the OB's feeling is that if doppler flow studies (done during the sono) indicate a problem or if growth doesn't meet expectations, we could electively deliver the baby early and hopefully avoid another tragedy. |
Yes, but observation, talking with other families, and even magazine articles has led me to the conclusion that the shooting thing is ingrained in boys. Seth's godparents (our 4th son) don't have guns in the house and the boys basically had no contact with guns, but by age two were taking their triangle half of a sandwich and using it as a pistol. Our goddaughter (their oldest girl) never did, and still doesn't. |
