A honeymoon baby!  We had one of those...

and then another (10 1/2 months later)...

and then another (year and a half later)...

and then another (three years later)...

and now another (on the way)!

Yeah... Rob sends me a message the other day...

"uncle Matt"

Geeze, didn't take them long at all!

At least he knows he's not shooting blanks!

(seriously, I'm happy for them, I know they'll do good at the 'parents' thing.  If she can just get Rob to change diapers... hehehe)

Is it too late to ask advice in this thread, or should I start another one?  I'll start here, just in case.

Ladies, please help......... I need help, in a bad way..

I know she's pregnant, but GEEZE.... WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THE MOOD SWINGS?

I mean, there is some serious imbalances going on with her chemicals...   Holy CRAP.  I'm a fairly patient guy, but DAMN, the SANITY has gone out the door.

How long does this last???

ETA, I will ask this in Team, just in case.

Welcome to the next 18+ years...  and then there's menopause

Seriously, though.  The hormone swings affect each woman differently.  My wife tends to have larger swings that last all 36 weeks of  pregnancy, and then the post-partum period lasts for a few months after that.  Breastfeeding helps to smooth out the hormone swings a little bit.  A friend of ours never had mood swings.

Just remember, the important words of marriage become even more important when your better half is pregnant:

"yes, Dear."    and      "I'm sorry."

Bringing home flowers randomly, but frequently, helps alleviate the mood swings to some degree.  Take it from a guy who has experienced it four times already, and is experiencing it again right now.
